I missed the main event...but we did drive to Wallace last Monday to see the center of the universe. I even got to stand on the center of the marker marking the center of the universe.

Following that, I walked two blocks to the bordello museum which unfortunately was closed. I was hoping to send some of the heavily engraved bordello coins to select politicians as Christmas gifts. The engraving clearly indicates they are "good for one screw".

Friday, Sept. 24, features a full day of presentations at the Coeur d'Alene Inn. Saturday, Sept. 25 includes a motorcoach and walking tour of the Silver Valley of northern Idaho and the Silver Capital of the World, Wallace, Idaho where at precisely 9 p.m. Pacific Time city fathers will dedicate a new sewer manhole cover marking the "Probabilistic Center of the Universe" amidst searchlights, revelry and marching bands. Over 400 people have registered to attend.
