I never could get a stable OCZ SSD running XP, creating it by restoring an Acronis image to it. Yes, it was an older SATA 1.5 mobo. I don't have Windows7.

I have restored several Acronis images to other hard drives, PATA and SATA, all running stable.

I don't have the time or motivation to resolve an issue that shouldn't be an issue. I slapped the SSD in a USB case and installed Ubuntu on it. Runs flawlessly.
