Gus,

Remember that the low multiple competitive nature of the disk drive component industry stems from the essentially commodity nature of the products. For example, in platters my understanding of the product is that all players make disks essentially the same way with differences being largely in manufacturing process technology.

With KM, AXC will have a proprietary technology that they control. Assuming the patents hold up, of course.
