ARLP. Understanding coal is tough for me: There's thermal and met. There are some in USA who produce for domestic market. Some who produce for export. Some who have mines internationally. There are all kinds of mining issues - legal, extraction, etc. I can't get my brain around all that, so as is my wont when I see or anticipate sector demand, I've taken a package. That's worked out ok for me so far with coal - some of these stocks are up quite a bit in a short time, as you are aware. BTU otoh, in my basket, has stalled, and also has not been a timely buy - I'm in the red. I suspect the stock will improve and reach for its high again. My suggestion was Harshu Vyas could consider. Or... maybe not. $24 now to near $31 by year-end (given importance of correct commodity timing as you point out), if it does happen, is plenty good enough for me. Maybe not so much so for someone who wants 50%.
