(Nasdaq: WAVO) announced today it has signed an agreement with Reuters NewMedia Inc., to provide a new satellite network delivering digital photographs, graphics and multimedia information to Reuters subscribers across North America. The agreement calls for a 256 kilobit per second channel that will provide the North American backbone for Reuters' worldwide Multimedia Data Network. The contract extends through the year 2001 and will include uplink services, satellite space segment, network management, installation and service, as well as application software.
