I've been on SI for a long time and I don't recall that I've spoken ill of anyone. However, Dell is just one of those few that hit me the wrong way. Sure I would like to see Dell buy from AMD, if only to keep competition in the industry. Obviously, I own a chunk of AMD(and have been frequently frustrated with its lack of performance)but I am not wedded to this stock or any other. I do not, however, invest in Dell. I think their business model is the "best" it can be right now and I see lots of room for negative surprises including Compaq taking them by storm in the near future. It was strictly my personal comment and since I voiced it you had a right to ask why. Sometimes I do feel a sense of support for the underdog and like to see the smaller companies have their days.
