This week's (September 4, 2000) Telephony Magazine has a timely collection of articles that address network intelligence, and the encroachment of IP influences on (and integration with) SS7 and AIN/IN.

I say "timely" because these articles, which I list in a moment, dovetail nicely with an excellent reply that I received from a new poster on the LMT, justone, earlier today, wherein he addresses many of these same issues. Many of my erstwhile replies to justone, it turns out, can be found in the articles attached. How convenient, eh? smiles
