It was the SuperBowl of January, 1984.

It launched the original Macintosh - a landmark machine.

It helped establish "Visual computing" and the Graphical User Interface - GUI as a standard.

It was aimed at depicting the EVILS of the IBM-led Computer establishment.

18 months later, Apple instituted MASSIVE layoffs and plant closings and FIRED THEIR founder, Steve Jobs.

Several more years later, Apple was hopping into bed with IBM to design/make PowerPC chips.
