It launched the original Macintosh - a landmark machine. It helped establish "Visual computing" and the Graphical User Interface - GUI as a standard. It was aimed at depicting the EVILS of the IBM-led Computer establishment. 18 months later, Apple instituted MASSIVE layoffs and plant closings and FIRED THEIR founder, Steve Jobs.
