New President has been in the business 25 years and last compnay was over 200mil. He feels his strength is his contacts in the industry and sales background to get the product placed in right companies for grth. They will focus on selling product line and not just items since most of the product line compliments each other. Templar and EDI translators working well together. More direct sales to large companies. Financial base is very strong. 56million cash, 3.9 million cash flow very little debt. 5000 customer base both USA & Int'l. Client server boxes to large companies. Opportunites to growth in a vertical line and place product with larger companies which Sterling is doing now. Large investor brokerage firm will be using Templar and Mellon Bank is using multi-product line. Relationships with customers is very good and repeat business is strong due to the need to be up dated and service contracts are very profitable. "Tremendous customer confusion" regarding EDI as a format and the industry has to over come this. The boardrooms in America want this but most companies don't know how to go about setting it up. Great advantage for PRMO. Business Electronic Commerce will be huge with the next area being information service companies such as health care and Insurance. Won't it be great to have just one standard form these people can use and send over the net? Next big step is Extranet with trading partners global. Importance of non-disclosure etc. Goals in 1997 are revenue growth at or better than current rate,profitability, and building a base of product line to grow from into the year 2000. Discussed something about Power dock and webb docks but I am not a tech person so was lost. Adding 6 sales people who will be contacting large corporations and company has a good backup of inside support people to help close the sales. President did stress that companies in the commerce area are coming to PRMO asking for help setting up their systems which is a good way to have it.
