Dennis;

Shorting a stock is exactly like buying it, just in reverse. The correct term is "short". You sell shares not yet in your account in hopes of the stock going down. Once it has gone down to your liking you "cover", which is to buy back at the lower cost. It is not really a difficult concept but it is not really my thing to give entire lessons- I might recommend a decent stock book for beginners. I'm sure there's a dummies book out there.... So, to answer your question: Cadaver is long on ANCR (buy) but I'm sure he pays attention to its peaks as well. If he were psychic, he could play it on the way up and down. Very few people can do this successfully, be careful! I hope you learned a little by chasing ancr, been there done that myself. I wouldn't worry about ANCR, I think you'll see 40 again this week. As for buy, it always means just that- BUY. Unless it's Dan Dorfman's buy in which case just do the opposite. :)

Hope this helps....

Mark
