As a value-oriented long play, I like Network Engines (NENG).

Current Price: $0.77
Cash: $2.75
ZERO debt
Short interest: 2,258 shares, down from 1/2 million last month
Shares out.: 34.2 mil
Float: 9.8 mil

Incredibly shrinking revenues due to DotCom (main customers)meltdown and aggressive pricing from bigger competitors, but cash burn rate is also shrinking due to new CEO cutting costs and layoffs. Current cash should last at least two more years, even without improvement in business.

Long-term a turn around could make for major gains (stock was as high as $48.50 just 7 months ago). Short-term a recovery to around cash value seems likely.

Trading at almost 1/4 cash value with no debt, NENG may be the best value play I've ever seen.
