Yes, but at the opening price today 1.7M shares was $1.7M. Compare this dollar volume with SUNW today ($2.6B) or WIND ($132M) and it looks thinly traded. Still, the day-traders would have to bet on horses if they didn't have penny stocks, and non of us investors would see any excitement. P.
