I bet there are people who buy mutual funds through brokers and misconstrue the insurance on brokerage accounts as a guarantee against huge losses from a declining market, just as if it were FDIC insurance on a bank account. Well, what do you think, Joe? Is the Day of Reckoning here? I do wish, just for fun, to see the market shut down briefly by trading curbs to find out what effect that has. Look forward to the day when common stocks are again a good investment.
