Hey Susan, check this out...this is another very common nq trend I've noticed......if you look at a five minute chart of the nq's....you can see that they have been steadily trending up with higher bottoms on the five minute sticks.. Well, if you look at the higher bottoms, they are all about a half point to a few points apart..So the pattern that I have noticed is that at some point, the nq's will take a serious screamer to the downside like a ten or twelve point five minute bar to run out all the stops on people trying to place stops right under those five minute bars....
