Lightchips inside computers, the future?
A few others have brought this concept up here previously, and it has fallen somewhat flat - The consideration that Lightchip/LP are actually focusing toward the future of photonic semiconducting (uh, semiconductors, that is, I don't want to misuse again, only make sense) - anyway, yeah?. Beyond the initial telecommunications industry products of LP & LC???? Are Lightpath & Lightchip really planning and developing the next generation of TRUE, ALL OPTICAL NETWORKING ??????????

True all optical networking to me, means photonic networks WITHIN computers, as well as from the computer, to the wall - from the house/office/LAN, to the Synchronous Optical Network/Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SONET/SDH) rings & beyond.

Note that the LPTHA Profile shows our company in the semiconductor industry, not telecommunications -
Competitors:
úSector: Technology

From the Lightchip slideshow -
Slide #10, "Lightchip will be a leading supplier of managed optical transport solutions that dramatically improve costs and flexibility, opening the door for the deployment of revolutionary transparent optical networks.
