$100 million loss in one quarter represents a loss of $0.80 per share. Since Apple made a profit last quarter, then we should expect a net loss for the year of less than the previous $6.59. This could have been factored already in the price of the stock (maybe), but it is possible that we see a bumpy ride before Jan.7 (MacWorld '97). After MacWorld '97 the price of the stock might go up again. Anyway, it is difficult to guess under the circumstances, i.e. All the hype and still poor market performance. In stock investments panick can be your worst enemy.
