POLITIFACT GIVES OBAMA'S BIG LIE REWRITE A 'PANTS ON FIRE'

Throughout the ObamaCare campaign and President Obama's re-election, PolitiFact, the phony left-wing fact check site, released a half-dozen provably false fact checks to protect Obama and his health care agenda. Now that Obama is safely re-elected and ObamaCare is safely the law of the land, PolitiFact probably feels it is safe to try to rehabilitate its credibility by giving Obama a " pants on fire" for rewriting his now-infamous "keep your insurance" pledge:

According to Obama, "What we said was you can keep (your plan) if it hasn’t changed since the law passed."But we found at least 37 times since Obama’s inauguration where he or a top administration official made a variation of the pledge that if you like your plan, you can keep it, and we never found an instance in which he offered the caveat that it only applies to plans that hadn’t changed after the law’s passage. And seven of those 37 cases came after the release of the HHS regulations that defined the "grandfathering" process, when the impact would be clear.

This is a tactical move on PolitiFact's part. Now they can claim to be on record giving the president a "pants on fire" over ObamaCare. But when truth and accuracy actually could have made a difference in this debate, and saved millions of middle class Americans from all kinds of stress, insecurity, and financial hardship, this phony fact-checker gleefully and repeatedly lit its own pants on fire.
