Jefferson said all corrupt politicians or even politicians who fall out of favor with public opinion, or lie to the nation, must go. And it is congress's job (as reps of the people) to impeach them. That's how our democracy is set up./ Only problem now is the current congress won't do the public's bidding because they're partisans. And they're going to pay soon by being voted out of power.

Nixon was forced to resign for doing less than Bush is guilty of. Ditto Agnew and Cheney. And Clinton was impeached for practically nothing, just a personal sin which should not have been investigated in the first place. Had nothing to do with Whitewater, which he was found 100% innocent of.
