Anybody know why a power supply would
have two four-pin power cables bundled
together. I can use one for my CPU, but
if I used the other for anything (I don't
happen to have anything else) I would
have to take the protective sheath of
the bundle.

Seems strange to put them together like that
unless some CPUs require two sets of four
pin power into the same spot which seems
redundant.

Also I assume the power in the molex
connections is the same as the sata power
cable--I got a molex to right angle sata
power cable so things fit better. Also
got a voltmeter today so I can answer my
own questions.

Going over everything twice before I plug
this all in. For instance, my usb connections
on the mainboard are eight pins (actually seven
with one pin not used/missing) but one of my
connections has just a row of four--.my manual
reminded me to be sure the ground was correct.
It is so I put it on there, but having the
other row of pins beside that looks wrong...
