I've been using E-Schwab for about 6 months. I was just considering switching to one of the deep discount E-Trade accounts discussed on this thread. However, after hearing these E-trade and Datek horror stories I am happy to pay 29.95 per trade for high integrity fast executions. Schwab will often execute at up to an 1/8 better than my limit sell price. The site is sometimes slow during peak useage, but all in all I would highly recommend E-Schwab.

As for the ASND / INTC rumor, there is no link I can provide to substantiate it, as I heard it verbally by a couple of cronies in the industry (neither of which work @ ASND or INTC). Therefore, I would consider the quality of the rumor as very poor, and would not base any decision to purchase (or sell) on it. The only thing I found interesting is that it came from two seperate, unrelated sources. I do, however, think that fundamentally ASND is a buy at current levels with excellent long-term (12 mo.+) price appreciation potential.

While I share in the dissapointment that the recent rally has faded, I am glad for another opportunity to add to my position at or near (below) current levels.

Larry
