Brad; re VXworks vis-a-vis Windows CE Vxworks and Windows CE aren't equivalents. Wind River's VXworks is a hard RTOS with guaranteed timeliness. Microsoft's Windows CE makes no such claim. No developer would ever use Windows CE in a critical application. Windows CE could be used in non-critical applications, where an occasional missed deadline is no big deal. Frank
