MDI-t...in the news: Major Drilling arranges private placement financing Tue 23 Apr 2002 News Release Mr. Michael Pavey reports Major Drilling Group has signed a letter of intent for a private placement financing of up to five million common shares, on a best-efforts basis and at a price between $3.00 and $3.25 per share, with a syndicate led by Griffiths McBurney & Partners and Dundee Securities Corporation, and including Haywood Securities Inc. Closing of the offering is scheduled for April 30, 2002. The company plans to use the proceeds for repayment of debt and for general corporate purposes.
