I'll ask about their reasons for moving here instead of staying put in the city next chance I get. I've only asked one of our new neighbors why he ended up moving here and he said he was recently divorced, they owned the house jointly and he got it in the settlement. He is 56 and is part of a growing number of the work from home crowd. It's an inexpensive place to live, so he's hoping to be able to retire in 4 yrs. I've recently seen a lot more young couples taking walks in the neighborhood, but it's so darned wet and cold this time of yr I'm not outside enough to start up a conversation. That will happen next Spring.
