There were sign around the election that we had peaked on this business cycle. And that wouldn't be a surprise, 8 years of growth is a long time. With the stimulus that has been pushed through Congress, it has been extended for a while. The problem, of course, is that gives more time for the accumulated inefficiencies to get worse and that means the eventual downturn is going to be more severe. And that makes the return to pre-crash games that the Banana Republicans have been focused on restoring all the more dangerous...
