hi -g, More policing ... yes I'm a fan.. Beat cops that folks get to know... As to the punishment angle well I feel folks re-offending with guns while on bail or parole are lost causes... The chance of redemption is not worth the risk to society.. As to your number 2... I have a problem because frankly in Toronto the violence is overwhelmingly specific to a small segment of the population... I think there is a cultural issue here and a general intervention is a waste... It has to be more specific... How I don't know.. Frankly I know many from the group that are hardworking, in fact model citizens... in fact the families of maybe half of my kids' friends... Still crazy afer all these years.. Al
