DJ Fannie Mae Gets Notice From NYSE >FNM

DOW JONES NEWSWIRES

Fannie Mae (FNM) said Tuesday that the New York Stock Exchange will have to make a determination regarding the mortgage-finance giant's ability to continue trading on the exchange if Fannie Mae doesn't file its 2005 annual report by March 15, 2007.

March 15 of next year is 12 months after the original due date for the 2005 report.

In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Fannie Mae said it was notified by the NYSE last Thursday that the exchange expects to complete its next quarterly review of the company by Dec. 31.
