CSFB (isn't this CABI) is announcing a huge drop in Korean handset sales in the second half

We have seen posts on this thread that do support the accuracy fo the above statement. With the handset subsidies ending, reported sales have declined. One of the more reliable analysts has already forecast a sequential decline in ASIC sales from Q3 to current Q4 of about 1.5 million ASICS. So above by CSFB is really "old" news.

The question is are other buyers stepping up to the plate in this quarter. I have a sense (gut feel?) we may hear some evidence of this happening on the CC next week. It may not be enough yet to completely offset the immediate Korean drop, but enough to lend credence to Dr. IJ's comments to Bloomberg on Friday and in today's press release about the future.
