from what i've seen so far, i'm laying it at the beta doorstep.

i'm basing my conclusion on the fact that i use classic and have no prob, and several of you use beta and do experience the prob.

then, when i went over to beta-beta land and tried it there, i did generate a question mark, albeit as a result of typing three dots (...) in word and copy/pasting them into beta.

so until someone can say that they use classic and get this problem (apostrophes turning into question marks when written in msword and copy/pasted into si), then i say it's a beta bug.

that's my story and i'm sticking to it.

:)
