Michael: On what do you base your recommendation for Ligand Pharmaceuticals? I want to get some exposure to the biotech industry...but these cos. are so difficult to analyze because of their lack of earnings. I have a brother in San Diego in commercial real estate who claims Ligand is planning to double their space in the near future. How can I evaluate these companies? I do not want to invest on a hope and a prayer. Thank you in advance. Judy
