Yes I am as you term it a "gappist". No other way for me to go.
The word of God is too clear on that for me, and scientists again I say have proven this to be true.
In the beginning.... That is all we are told in that sentence... "In the beginning...." Evidence undisputed tell us this world is millions of years old, no question.....In Gen.2 "And the earth was without form,and void;......" the word "was" is translated "became" #1961 in the Hebrew... tohu va bohu.. Not created tohu....but became tohu . So the earth became void, after God destroyed it at the overthrow of satan. Then God created it "again" in Gen.1:3.. it was in this world "age" that God did creat man.... In truth if we believe that this world is only 6-7,000 years old then we must throw out the uncontested evidence not only of science but also many scriptures of the word of God, including 2 Peter in the NT ... The stones cry out.
This is a very in depth study, but when one does it thouroughly he can only come to one conclusion, that this world is millions and millions of years old. This world"age" is only maybe 7,000 years old, the age of man. This is the 2nd world "age" the third is yet to come, it is the 3rd world age, the age of eternity. There was a first, we live in the 2nd, and there will be a third world "age"
