I think Webb is entitled to the same opinion that he had expressed throughout the campaign. At least he has a son in the war, unlike every republican senator, cabinet member or pundit. Maybe the President could have been gracious and said: "We all want them home just as soon as its possible to do so". Why would he get testy over a sincere comment from a decorated veteran and concerned parent?
