LOL Please show a historical reference to the government providing money to the poor in the 14th century, no less any century until the 20th. Your entry is flawed as a definition of welfare when citing agencies that provide funds to the poor. Your post attempts to promote the idea that 14th century definition includes "welfare" aqs it is today.
