I still believe that buyback is appropriate and good use of Company funds where they can acquire at 22 and then in future use to fund options at much higher stock prices. Just satisfying future option requirements at exercise prices at 30 provides a 36% return on invested capital. MINIMUM.

To hell with the message that MRVC is sending to the poor saps that bought the secondary. That's Bear Sterns problem for not supporting the stock better in the first place. Secondly, a buyback sends message to the entire market that management thinks the stock is undervalued.

I'm not saying shoot the entire wad. 500,000 shares would only cost them 11 to 12 million. I'm not playing eps games here. I'm playing return on invested capital and a demonstration of confidence.
