I don't totally disagree with your analysis of bj but he was the ultimate politician. The Gingrich revolution was a rebuke of his direction. In retrospect - my opinion. There wasn't much of a choice. There was Reagan and there was Trump and in-between was a shit sandwich - they all expanded the government and its power albeit in different directions.

I seriously doubt if Clinton has a moral compass. He may have tried to resemble JFK but lacked the character. His presidency was saved by the Republican takeover.
