I've been looking for anything that could link to General Magic and come up empty. Only thing I've found is a section at the Consumer Electronics Show this week in Las Vegas will be on the AutoPC. Perhaps there is a coming announcement? Last CES, there was a demo by Microsoft/General Magic/Clarion. It never turned into anything, but it was an interesting platform for GM to present it's wares. There is also a big interest in Telephoney/Internet stories. Other that that, this rumor that was just posted would be amazing if true. 1/3/00 - 9:57:00 AM - GMGC - GENL MAGIC $4 - Goldman is rumored to be a big buyer of the shares and rumors also circulating the street that a major new deal valued at around $15 per share is rumored to be announced.
