John --

Do you realize the power of this list?

1. Alcatel -- using Amati's expertise and discussing licensing.

2. Lucent -- developing VDSL (not sure about ADSL) and *my guess* is they'll go DMT eventually. Why else would they have sold off Paradyne?

3. Ericcson -- licensing Amati's DMT.

4. Motorola -- partnering with Amati on DMT chips.

5. NEC -- partnering with Amati on chips and co-producing/marketing modems. Partner in HKT contract.

6. Siemens -- in talks with Amati right now.

7. Nortel -- not sure the exact connection but know there is one.

8. Fujitsu -- in talks with Amati right now. I was told if they or Alcatel get the BT contract, Amati could benefit.

9. Bosch Telecom -- What, there's one I've never heard of???? :)

10. Nokia -- not sure on this one. JW, is this on your list?

John -- thanks for all your work recently. I know how many hours these tasks take and I certainly don't take your efforts for granted.

Regards,

Pat
