OTOH, their philosophy is all about power grabbing. They’re experts. This behavior could be just another deliberate technique — since it’s the law of history that they are the future - so, act as if it already happened. It will, anyway. Can’t be stopped. Resistance is futile. Same old marxi-leninism.

But - it’s still a two party system. With a modicum of diligence from the opposing (our) party, they’ll take their beating - and will settle down to nurse their wounds.
