I live in a deep red state but the city is deep blue ( I would be based on observation that there are a lot of illegal votes there). I moved there as an experiment and expected it tp be short term. I had to deal with a lot of issues with new construction and then Ferguson happened. I resolved to get out asap. Rode through NYS 3 times and knew a lot of people who worked in Manhattan. A lot of conservatives but overwhelmed by do nothings. Good idea to GTFO.
