tom, i believe you are on to something.....also if i recall correctly awhile back the weighting in mont. emerg. mkts fund was higher....i believe this was pulled back from 10% equity weighting to 5%......with 10% asia and 10% europe for the remaining foreign exposure.....vs. what was i think 7.5% and 7.5% with 10% emerg. mkts.......does anyone recall this?? let me know if i have misstated this...... could the change be related to the handover of hong kong?? i know a couple of guys who have been doing business since the early 70s over there and they said the real happenings are not being reported....surprise....their friends have been selling stock and shipping valuables to the us and vancouver for the last five yrs..... lars
