SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 15, 1999--Network Appliance, Inc. NTAP , the leading provider of data-access appliances, today announced its F760 enterprise-class filer solution successfully completed comprehensive SAP R/3 functionality testing and system performance evaluations.
The test results conclude that Network Appliance's F760 filer solution consistently met every requirement for SAP hardware platform implementation.
The "Check/3" tests of NetApp's F760 filer were designed to measure response time performance for typical enterprise workloads and normal operations of the SAP R/3 system, including installation and setup, database administration, database backup and recovery. The iXOS Technical Consulting analysis used standard iXOS testing methodology to examine Network Appliance's filer functionality, reliability and response time.
