I say PFE will be $164 a share by 1st quarter 1999.

If there are 30 million men suffering from erect.dysf. in U.S. alone, let's say the launch of the drug proceeds such that cumulatively in one year 10% go on therapy this year using Viagra, using a small estimate and a slowly accelerating launch. Supposing they get the urge and use Viagra once per week. With Viagra to be sold about $7 a pill, gives treatment costs per person at about ( 7 X 52 ) $364. I'll use a profit margin of 17% (Pfizer's 1997 margins from SEC reports ranges from 17 to 19% ) which gives me roughly $4.2 billion in net profits for one year.

If Pfizer's current marketed drugs continue to show modest growth, (Though Zoloft sales are accelerating), they are expected to earn about $2 a share for this year. With 4.2 billion, and 1.3 billion shares outstanding, we have about $3.47 a share profit from Viagra alone using my estimates. Even if current drugs flatline in growth (they won't), I see Pfizer making $5.49 a year by 1st quarter 1999. Assigning a 35 times 12 months trailing multiple could possibly factor in the potential for new drug approvals and new launches of Viagra into other countries I see Pfizer stock at about $164 by 1st quarter 1999 with more potential to grow.
