tim, I am a new member today, been trading only dell --day trading but holding overnight 80%. trippled 100K in 9 months by heavy use of margin, most days ready to trade my entire 12000 shares in and out.
can you ar anyone direct me to a group here, trying to refine issues such as, which mm are giving best executions on 6 to 10K shares, which are good in fast market conditions when you have to go way ahead of the spread, which brokers' mm/execution systems can keep up with you in the rare times you need real speed. I currently pay $300 per mo for a realtick type feed, & internet trade via schwab. I'm trying harder to avoid infrequent fed calls, because I seem to burn up excess sma with certain same day trades. I urgently need practical suggestions on these type of issues, as I expect it will be MUCH harder to trade like I have been. and I don't want to post here, if I should be somewhere else. anyone please advise; much appreciated. just turned 60 this month; this has been my present to myself. thanks in advance; I have studying this thread alot--although I get many ideas off it, it doesnt seem as though what I am asking should really be on here. would apreciate suggestions. |
