y2k browser compliancy...
just in case you haven't had quite enough of this subject <g3> i thought i'd pass along some info from one of the online brokerage firms regarding the browser you use. the info is specific in that it mentions which versions are compliant, so i felt that it was worthwhile. if you happen to be one of the folks still running an old browser, well, read up.
"AOL
AOL versions 4.0 and 5.0 are both Y2K compliant. For more information on how to make your AOL software Y2K compliant, please visit keyword: Year 2000.
Netscape
Netscape states that Netscape Communicator and Netscape Navigator versions 4.06 and higher have been certified as Y2K compliant. If you are using an older browser, including versions of Netscape Navigator or Netscape Communicator prior to version 4.06 (released in August, 1998) you should upgrade now. In general, Netscape recommends that you upgrade your browser to the latest version, currently Netscape Communicator 4.7, which can be downloaded for free. Microsoft Internet Explorer
Microsoft recommends using Internet Explorer 4.01 or higher. To be absolutely sure that you have a Y2K compliant browser, you may want to upgrade to Internet Explorer 5.0 32Bit English version. There may be Y2K issues involving Internet Explorer 4.5 for the Macintosh.
