Ted, I understand how the media works, but I for one don't consider it newsworthy when, in the face of 7M uninsured in California, plus another 1.1M getting cancellation notices, only 160K people have signed up for new plans thus far.

Also, Covered California's web site doesn't have the problems that the federal web site is suffering from. Furthermore, I'm seeing a lot of Covered California ads on TV and on radio, so the awareness is there. (I'm pretty sure the Latino media has tons more ads than even the English-speaking media.)

Like I hinted before, I'll wait until March 31 before making any judgements about Covered California. If anything, this state should be the bellwether of ObamaCare and whether it can succeed in vastly reducing the number of uninsured Americans.
