Blasher, first re your comments on the 1998 Act...the repubs put in Section 8 to deliberately make it illegal for Clinton to make any use of the Armed Forces to do what the Act they created called for...the overthrow of Saddam. They were too busy impeaching The President of The United States for committing adultery and lying about it to want any distractions such as any real attempts to dethrone Saddam. It just ended up making the Iraqi con man Chalabi more stronger. And the impeachment wasted two years of our country focus while bin Ladin plotted.

Now re those WMD...lots of voices knew this WMD stuff was phoney and sources such as Curveball were full of it. It did not take any special brilliance to realize that Judith Miller was reporting the lies coming from Cheney/Bush in the NY Times to its shame leading up to the vote.

Bob Graham, Senator, Florida knew this 45 min to doom by Sadaam was BS and said so and voted NO. The inspectors in the 90s had found the yellow cake and had secured the stuff and the only good result of the 2002 vote, the inspectors got back in, and found the yellow cake still secured as they had left it. And oh yes those ridiculous mobile labs Powell lied about, to his everlasting discredit, could not even be found. And our guys overflying 2/3rds of Iraq knew the Bush WMD stuff was BS. The editor of Military, one of the pilots during that time said so on CSpan and he was no liberal. And there was that story of the 707 being used to train al queda on hijacking...OMG

I will never forget one the prominent neocons on these boards telling me we could not leave our troops in Kuwait and let the inspectors finish their work which was clearly showing the Bush WMD stuff was lies...why...oh yeah, a summer in Kuwait waiting would be just too much for the troops...that terrible heat!

And Afghanistan, we knocked off the Taliban with some guys on horses and Afghan militias and then what did Bush do, took all the resources to Iraq to get his family revenge. Obama had to clean up the mess and the clean up has not been perfect.

I see you said nothing about that guy's video...what can you say other than Despicable...and that is mild!
