I still say every sell has to have a buy to match it off. I'm not sure what you mean by a "sell trade" and a "buy trade".Maybe you can explain to me how anybody can separate the sale and the buy, which constitute one transaction, with the motives of the participants known only to them. There might be some significance to 100 people selling 100 shares vs. 25 people selling 250 shares, but I have never seen a scientific study on the subject so I remain agnostic. I have the TC2000 system, but use it mostly for constructing bands, which I find very useful in determining the "normal"price range and/or the random walk of a stock price. If a stock gets outside the bands that should theoretically cover more than 95% of its range, I get interested.
I believe the indicators you mention are "black boxes" and I never put much faith in hidden secrets.
