Dell is headed towards the sub $1000 pc
If they wanted they could enter the sub $1000 quickly. The last few rounds of price cuts have given more computer for $1200-$1300 but the old entry at that price disapears instead of getting cheaper. (Unless you shop for refurbished machines which are sometimes priced $800-$900).
