Hi skinowski....

Just some general thoughts on this mess...

Maybe Putin has to "look strong".....

From what I'm reading in the last couple of hours, he is going for broke, all in....By the sound of it....He just committed almost every offensive weapons system he had mobilized on Ukraine's borders....Maybe he is trying to force Ukraine to the bargaining table now...???

Nuclear forces are always on high alert....I can still remember our purchased press telling us we were all going to die within two weeks because Ronald Reagan was dealing firmly with Russia....I was up on the flight-deck reading about it while "Ivan the Garbage Collector" was following us around in the big IO.

I think we need to get back to NSDD-32.

Biggest worry for me AFA the nukes go, is large scale EMP attack takes out all comms....That will be a new scenario....Militaries will have "their own" way of dealing with that....Launch first, or retaliate...???

I bet Putin thinks the west will not retaliate....If a western leader sends nukes topside, he/she probably won't get reelected and we don't want to cause further climate change and so on....

IMO.....The most important moves so far:
1. Freezing CBR assets
2. Attacking Putin & his closest friends/allies personal fortunes
