As a software developer who started out with basic algorithms and writing FORTRAN, COBOL, and assembler language, back when you communicated with the computer by card punches, this never gets old.

Get in your car, and it takes you. No questions asked. More safely than you could get if you drove it yourself. And if Tesla never writes another line of code, it will get better, and better, and better at driving this route, all by itself.

I wonder sometimes whether people understand how remarkable and revolutionary this is.
