“Attacks on churches are not only an attack on our culture, but above all on our peaceful coexistence.”

Yes, that’s exactly what they’re designed to be.

“Something like this is in no way tolerable and must have no place in our city.”

Yes, Ms. Sachslehner, but will you actually lift a finger to end Austria’s suicidal mass migration policies?

“Sachslehner on arson attack on church: ‘Under no circumstances tolerable,’” translated from “Sachslehner zu Brandanschlag auf Kirche: ‘In keinem Fall tolerierbar,'” Exxpress, December 27, 2023 (thanks to Medforth):

A mobile toilet placed in front of the Viennese Maria Namen church in Ottakring was set on fire on the afternoon of St. Stephen’s Day. The fire damaged the adjacent facade. “My guess: This was a targeted attack,” emphasized Pastor Jesus David Jaen Villalobos to the “Kronen Zeitung.” Investigations are currently underway against unknown perpetrators on suspicion of property damage caused by fire.

“Attacks on churches are not only an attack on our culture, but above all on our peaceful coexistence. Something like this is in no way tolerable and must have no place in our city,” emphasized Laura Sachslehner (ÖVP) via X (formerly Twitter).

It is not the first worrying incident in Vienna-Ottakring: three terror suspects were arrested in the refugee accommodation before Christmas. As a result, increased security measures were taken by the executive branch. The two men and the woman are said to belong to a transnational radical Islamist terrorist network that is said to have considered attacks on Cologne Cathedral and St. Stephen’s Cathedral. The fire team of the Vienna State Criminal Police Office has now been informed about the incident in Ottakring.
